3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp matcha powder
2/3 cups sugar
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg

1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and matcha powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the wet ingredients—sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg—until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix well until a soft dough forms.
- Divide the dough into six equal portions and form them into balls. Place them evenly spaced on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, make the lemon glaze by mixing powdered sugar with lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the cookies are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 15 minutes before drizzling the lemon glaze over the top.
