Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup powdered, plus more for dusting later

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  • Add the flour, salt, and cinnamon, mixing until incorporated. Fold in the pecans and continue mixing until a dough forms.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using your hands, shape the dough into golf ball–sized balls (about 20 total) and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Roll the cookies in the powdered sugar, then place them on a separate plate.
  • Once the cookies have cooled completely, roll them again in the powdered sugar before serving.
