Turkey Burgers with Honey Mustard Sauce

2 lbs. ground turkey
1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
- Honey mustard sauce
1 cup mayo
1/4 cup yellow mustard
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced shallot
2 tbsp olive oil
- To serve
6 brioche buns
lettuce
tomato slices
onion slices
6 provolone slices
Directions
- Combine the ingredients for the burgers and mix well with your hands.
- Divide the meat into 6 even-sized patties. Make a medium-sized dent in the middle of the patties, and let them rest at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.
- Meanwhile, prepare the honey mustard sauce my mixing all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Store in the fridge until you are ready to use.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties, flat side down, and cook the patties for approximately 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they have cooked completely through.
- With about two minutes remaining, add the sliced provolone cheese on top of the burgers and let it melt.
- Toast the brioche buns and serve with your choice of toppings and the honey mustard sauce.
