Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb baby bok choy, halved

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • neutral oil

  • Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

  • 1 tsp chili oil

Directions

  • In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • Add neutral oil to a pan over medium/high heat.
  • Add the bok choy to the pan, cut-side down, and sear for 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 15-30 seconds.
  • Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Remove from the heat and serve hot.
