Ingredients

  • 1 cup lemon juice (about 6 large lemons)

  • 6 cups water

  • ice, to serve

  • Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar

  • 1 cup water

Directions

  • To make the brown sugar simple syrup, whisk together the brown sugar and water in a small saucepan. Place over medium-high heat and bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, water, and cooled simple syrup. Stir well. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
