Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Kofta
  • 2 lb ground lamb

  • 1 yellow onion, grated

  • 2 garlic cloves, grated

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp cumin

  • 2 tsp coriander

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine all the kofta ingredients. Using your hands, shape a generous portion of the mixture into a 4-inch log. Repeat with the remaining mixture to make about 18 koftas.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the kofta for about 4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve warm with your choice of sides.
