1 tbsp olive oil
- Kofta
2 lb ground lamb
1 yellow onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, grated
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine all the kofta ingredients. Using your hands, shape a generous portion of the mixture into a 4-inch log. Repeat with the remaining mixture to make about 18 koftas.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the kofta for about 4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides.
